Poor water repellency
⑴Form: The water droplet rolling effect is poor, and the fabric may even get wet.
⑵Cause:
① The raw silk sizing has not been washed, and it cannot be washed with water after dyeing. The fabric contains residual surfactant.
② The amount of water-repellent agent is too small, the rolling residue rate is too low, and the vehicle speed is too fast.
③The raw silk is not completely dry.
④The baking temperature is too low, which affects the cross-linking of the water repellent agent.
⑶Solution:
① The water-repellent finished silk must be clean and free of impurities.
② Increase the amount of water-repellent agent; master different padding ratios for different fabrics, and the padding speed should not exceed 24m/min.
③After drying, perform water-repellent finishing; determine the appropriate process conditions.
④Strictly abide by the process conditions.
