1. Screen display method
The screen display method is to adjust the color of the image by adjusting the color displayed on the screen. Usually, the color is selected or adjusted through the color menu on the screen. This method is very useful when matching colors or starting to mix colors, and is a common color mixing method used by designers.
However, due to the different color development principles of fluorescent screens and dyes on fabrics (fluorescent screens produce colors by mixing three RGB electron beams, while dyes express colors by absorbing light waves of certain colors) , all the colors that can be displayed on the screen cannot be expressed on the fabric through dyes, and the small differences between the colors expressed by the dyes cannot be clearly displayed on the screen. Therefore this is a rough grading method and cannot be used for precise grading.
2. Color card color matching method
Color card color matching method is to adjust colors by comparing the colors in the color card.
The basic process is: First, establish a color card model.
You can choose one or several color modes to create a color card model. The color card model is a three-dimensional solid (Lab mode and RGB mode) or a group of three-dimensional solids (CMYK mode).
Secondly, create a color card file. A three-dimensional model can be decomposed into a two-dimensional graphic, with one of the values as a variable, or for CMYK mode, two variables. After making the color card file, print it out for later use.
This color adjustment method is simple and easy to use. You only need to compare the target color with the color card and select the same color.
However, if you use this method, different fabrics may have color differences, so the color card fabric should be the same as the target fabric.
In addition, the three-dimensional scale subdivision of the color card will also affect the color grading effect. If the scale is too fine, the number of color cards and the workload during comparison will be greatly increased; if the scale is too large, the number of color cards will be controlled, but the required color may not be found during comparison.
3. Color measurement colorimetry
This colorimetry method uses a colorimeter to measure the color of the target color block, inputs the measured results into the computer, and then prints the color. This method determines color through instruments, thus removing many human and environmental factors.
When using this method, the sensitivity and accuracy of the colorimeter itself have a great impact on the measurement results, and inaccurate measurement results will directly affect the printing effect. On the other hand, fabric texture will also affect color measurement.
