The exposed elastic yarn caused by air twisting is generally less than 0.3cm ~ 0.5cm long, and the slightly longer one is about 1cm. The appearance and size of the elastic yarn are related to the quality of the twist
When the fabric is made of medium to light colors, it will generally not show up. When it is made into dark colors, white silk will show up on the fabric. But why do some fabrics show more and some fabrics show less? This has a lot to do with the organization of the fabric…
1. Plain weave (1/1): The appearance rate of empty twisted white silk is 50%

At present, elastic yarn mills have no good solution for the exposure of elastic yarn caused by empty twisting, which is inevitable in production. Yes, depending on the thickness of the yarn and the texture of the fabric, there will probably be 1 to 2 pieces of white silk within 1 meter. If there is a problem in spinning resulting in small yarn, the corresponding air twisting opportunities will increase, which will increase the probability of dense elastic yarn being exposed, but this is an individual phenomenon.
