(1) Calculation of similar fabric design The so-called similar fabric means that two pieces of fabric are of the same type and feel similar in texture, but require a change in the weight of the fabric. In this way, the raw materials of the two fabrics are the same and the main processes are the same. The yarn characteristics and density of the new fabric can be calculated based on the data of the original fabric.
(2) Calculation of changing fabric structure During product design, if designers can find similar fabrics from the collected excellent products, they can use the calculation method of similar fabrics mentioned above. to solve. However, sometimes similar fabrics cannot be found for new products that need to be designed. In this case, the geometric structure of the fabric can be used to estimate the approximate density of the new fabric, which can be used as a reference for formal design. The raw materials of the new fabric and the original fabric are the same, with alternate yarn textures, similar feel and body, and only require changes in the fabric structure.
