Design of mid-length fiber fabrics
1. Determination of the number of fibers in the yarn cross section. Since medium-long fibers are made using cotton textile equipment to make wool-like products, and their fibers are thinner and shorter than wool fibers, in order to ensure the quality of the yarn, the number of fibers in the yarn cross section must be determined. It should have more fiber than wool. But if there is too much, the woven fabric will easily fluff, pill and wrinkle, and lack the wool texture. If it is too little, the finished yarn will be poor in dryness, wear resistance and strength. The appropriate number of fiber roots should be selected. Generally, the number of fibers of 65/35 polyester-viscose blended chemical fiber fabric yarn or 50/50 polyester-nitrile blended chemical fiber fabric yarn is 50-80. The best number is 55-60. 2. Selection of fiber radial distribution The selection of fiber radial distribution refers to the distribution of fibers within a certain cross-section in the yarn. It should be decided according to the requirements of product performance and style. It is based on the fiber distribution rules of blended chemical fiber fabric yarns. to achieve. Medium-long fiber fabrics require a wool-like style, and thick and elastic fibers should be used to distribute on the surface of the spinning yarn. Therefore, when polyacrylonitrile blended chemical fiber fabrics are used, polyacrylonitrile fibers are relatively loose and should be thicker and shorter than polyester when selected; when polyester-viscose blended chemical fiber fabrics are used, viscose fibers are not wear-resistant and have poor elasticity, so they should be slender.
