Key points of polyester/linen fabric design and production
1. Fabric design (1) Blended chemical fiber fabric ratio: Polyester and linen blended chemical fiber fabrics and fine single yarn fabrics are mainly sold domestically. Taking into account domestic consumption characteristics and consumption levels, the fabric should be crisp, not easy to wrinkle, and the cloth surface should be fine and clean, so polyester The blended chemical fiber fabric ratio is higher than that of ramie. Generally, the blended chemical fiber fabric ratio of polyester is 55% to 70%, and the blended chemical fiber fabric ratio of ramie is 30% to 45%. (2) Special characteristics of spinning yarn: As a summer clothing material, the fabric is required to be light, breathable and sweat-absorbent, so yarn with a smaller linear density should be selected for weaving. However, if the linear density is too small, it will definitely bring certain difficulties to weaving and finishing. Therefore, the spinning yarn is between 12.5~16.7tex (60~80 tex). (3) Spinning yarn twist: In order to reduce yarn hairiness, improve yarn integrity, and increase cohesion between fibers, the yarn twist can be appropriately increased, generally exceeding the critical twist coefficient by about 10%. It also improves the stiffness of the fabric.
