Prepare combined samples
First of all, the first step is to prepare the test sample according to the testing standard requirements, referred to as the sample. Cut the sample and select multi-fiber lining or single-fiber lining according to the requirements in the standard or the requirements specified by the corporate customer. After selecting the lining that fits the sample, sew the sample to form a combined sample. The following points need to be noted here:
(1) When receiving a testing task order, first check whether the sample matches the description of the task order. For example, the color of the sample, the quantity of the sample, whether the sample is knitted or woven, etc.
(2) After checking that the sample information is correct, start cutting the size of the sample according to the standard or customer requirements. During the cutting process, it is necessary to clearly understand whether the lining fabric specified in the standard is multi-fiber lining or single-fiber lining. For multi-fiber lining, during the cutting process, it is important to make sure that all colors are perpendicular to the six fiber strips of the multi-fiber lining fabric. If samples of all colors cannot be included at one time, multiple groups of samples must be prepared for testing to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the test results.
(3) After cutting the sample according to the standard requirements, sew it with the selected lining along one short side of the lining, thus completing the combined sample for the test. At the same time, the combined sample must be placed accurately and in the specified corresponding position to prepare for the personnel who will conduct the test later.
Carry out test operations according to standard requirements
Since the preparation and testing of the combined sample are performed by separate personnel, when testing this process, it is necessary to prepare the corresponding test solution according to the requirements of the standard for testing. How to conduct a good test should do the following:
(1) The first is the instrumentation and equipment. The effectiveness of the equipment must be checked before work to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the test results. Checking whether the equipment is functioning properly is something that must be done before starting work every day. Cleaning and maintenance of instruments and equipment before get off work is also one of the effective and feasible methods to ensure the service life of instruments and equipment.
(2) Before starting the test, it is necessary to check whether the combined sample of the sweat’s alkali resistance and acid resistance is placed in the correct position and marked accordingly to ensure the accuracy of the test process. Issues such as the specified liquor ratio, time, weight weight, and number of samples placed must be strictly adhered to the standard requirements to ensure the accuracy, feasibility and effectiveness of the test data.
(3) For samples that are difficult to completely wet, wet them completely. Otherwise, the test results will be very different from the results of complete wetting.
(4) Compare personnel differences. There may be differences in the operations of different people on the same experiment, so comparing differences between people is a very important thing in daily work. Reduce some unnecessary human errors through personnel difference comparison to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test data.
Keep your ratings
Use the gray sample card to evaluate the discoloration of the dried sample and the staining of the backing fabric, and then issue a report. Rating is the latter process, and it is also an important process. The result of the rating is the conclusion that customers or consumers will ultimately see. Some thoughts on doing good ratings:
(1) First of all, you must clearly understand the relevant standards, be familiar with the standard requirements and the relevant regulations of the enterprise to make the correct assessment of the grade of the combined sample.
(2) You must have an understanding of the work content of the previous two processes, be able to accurately judge the problems that occurred in the previous process, discover and correct errors in a timely manner. In addition, the rating under the D65 light source specified in the standard must be strictly implemented to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the rated levels. At the same time, the 45° angle evaluation requirements specified in the standard must also be followed.
(3) Regarding the difference in gaze. In terms of gaze, it is necessary to compare gaze differences within a specified time. This can effectively avoid unnecessary losses caused by human errors to enterprises and customers.
