  抑菌整理也称抗生物活性整理。现在抑菌整理所用的化学品都是从其他领域中移植过来的,都经过了严格09审查。2003年版的Oeko-tex标准100也终于网开一面,规定按人类生态观点评估后,对人体健康是无害的,可按Oeko-tex标准100接受I~Ⅲ类产品的认证申请。可是,在现用的有机抗菌整理剂中,能符合环保要求的品种却不多。

  美国道康宁公司为纺织品量身定制开发的DC-5700抑菌剂,于1976年投放市场。这是符合环保要求的抗生物活性剂,具有能与纤维素纤维发生化学反应,又能自身缩聚成膜的功能。不论在天然纤维和合成纤维及其混纺织物上均有良好的耐洗性。经整理后缩聚物不溶于水和油脂,不会经皮肤进入人体,仅杀灭接触纺织品的微生物,对常驻于皮肤上、毛孔内的微生物仍可安全无恙,不会产生耐药性菌株。这类有机硅季铵盐的抗菌整理剂国内有多家厂商生产。

  其次,20世纪80年代由ICI公司开发用于纺织品的双胍结构抗菌整理剂——Reputex 20,是一种阳离子聚合物。适用于纤维素纤维和羊毛及其混纺织物,其安全性曾获美国FDA和EPA认可。据称经洗25—50次后仍具良好的抑菌性。整理后通过有机酸或其盐的水溶液处理,可提高耐洗性、耐氯漂性和抑制其吸氯泛黄问题。

  层压加工热熔粘合法已成为主流,其加工工艺可纳入清洁生产技术行列。国内聚氨酯聚乙烯和聚四氟乙烯的微孔薄膜都能自行生产。由中国纺织科学研究院开发的无孔防水透湿聚氨酯薄膜,系藉分子中亲水基团传导湿气,其透湿量达3000~4000g/m2/24hr。在多家生产聚四氟乙烯微孔膜的基础上,近开发出PT-FE/PU复合微孔膜,对复合产品洗涤后的耐水性提高有明显的作用。
