Toray has signed an agreement with the Chinese Society for Sand Control and Sand Fixation to use polylactic acid (PLA) fiber “ェコヂィィA” for sand fixation and greening. The company’s PLA sand control will be used on a sandy land with a total area of 100 acres in the suburbs of Beijing.
