透湿标准常用的有国标、欧标、美标、日标，这几个标准分别有吸湿法和蒸发法，但是这些标准所采用的测试条件都不一致，所以测得的结果也是不一致。那么，该如何选用呢？

需要特别指出的是，ASTM E96 BW法有1995版和其他版，95版的测试条件不成熟，风速较其他标准相差较大，测试的数据相对较高，建议不采用。
