The British company Shreddies uses chemical weapons technology to design “anti-smell underwear” and will go on sale in Japan in early 2015.
This anti-odor fart underwear has the function of filtering stinky farts. Even if the user keeps farting, people around him will not smell it. The non-breathable briefs are made from soft, airtight nylon fabric with a replaceable filter pad made from highly absorbent carbon fiber fabric to absorb and neutralize odors. The thin filter pad contains Zorflex, an activated carbon material used in chemical warfare protective clothing, which can filter odor 200 times stronger than ordinary farts. It can be said to be good news for patients with digestive system disorders. The pre-tax price of this anti-odor underwear ranges from 4,000 yen to 7,500 yen (approximately RMB 227.38 to 426.1 yuan). A spokesman for Shreddies said England star Frank Lampard was one of the first buyers of the product.
